Kinder-Camp...Day 4...

We had a great last day!  We made a great snack by following directions and we were able to see the playground too!  We received our t-shirts today.  I would love to see you wear them the first week of school.

I had a blast this week.  I want to thank Mrs. Walsh for all of her help.  Mrs Buchanan and Mrs. Nicodemus were able to help out throughout the week and they were great to have too.  We had a fantastic week.

Enjoy the last few days of summer...I will see you all on the 26th or 27th.

Kinder-Camp...Day 3...

We had another great day.  We worked with scissors.  If your child is having trouble cutting on the lines or holding scissors incorrectly, then try having them hold their paper up in the air.  This will help your child get their hand in the correct place to start cutting.  We also worked with our names and practiced using glue bottles and as a bonus we used...glitter!

Kinder Camp...Day 2...

We had another great day!  We worked on following simple directions!  We worked on some mazes to help with our fine motor skills.  I am amazed by how well the children are writing their names.  We also worked on the vocabulary first, middle, and last.  We made a stoplight to help us with the vocabulary.  I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the children!  I am looking forward to another great day tomorrow!

Kinder-Camp Day 1

We had a blast today during Kinder-Camp!  We met some new friends and worked on routines.  We also made a bus to go along with the song and story we read: "The Wheels on the Bus."  The children did a wonderful job!  I cannot wait to see them tomorrow!

Kindergarten Camp...

Working Away...

I went into school this week to begin preparing for Kindergarten Camp and the upcoming year.  I am quite excited to meet all of you and I am just as nervous too (I always get nervous for the first day of school and I have been doing this for 11 years).

Here are a few pictures of the classroom...
